General Information
- The Treasurer is responsible for the collection of taxes
- Property Owners receive tax bills twice a year around July 1 and December 1
- Tax bills are always due on September 14 and February 14 unless the 14th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday then they are due the next business day
- Post marks are only accepted for Sept 14 and Feb 14. Taxes must be in the hand of the Treasurer before the last day of February.
- Interest fees begin September 15 and February 15
- Taxes become delinquent on March 1st of each year and tax bills are passed on to the County Treasurer, who will levy additional late fees. Those payments are not updated on this website.
- Make checks payable to: Blue Lake Township
- Cash payments must be for the exact amount
- There is a drop box at the Township Hall’s main entrance.
- Property owners are responsible for notifying the Treasurer if their mailing address changes. Taxes are due whether or not the bill is received

Paying Taxes
Use Your Credit Card
There is a 2.8% + .50 cents per transaction Convenience Fee charged and paid to BS&A for the use of your credit card to pay your tax bill.
Once you are on the Blue Lake Township page at BS&A you will have to register/sign in to access your tax bill. You can then access your tax bill by last name, address or property number.
Step 1: Select pay tax bill. Enter all information.
Step 2: Review and Submit. Here you will see the Convenience Fee charged.
Step 3: Confirmation and receipt. Print out for your records.
Use Your Checking Account
BS&A will accept ECH payments for a flat fee of $3 per check/payment up to $1,000.00.
$6 per transaction up to $5,000.00.
$12 per transaction above $12,000.00.
Process is the same as above except you chose to pay ACH.
Lost Your Tax Bill?
If you lost your bill, you can find a copy of your bill in the Summer Winter Tax Roll in the right hand column on this page. Everyone is listed alphabetically, so scroll down until you find your name, note the page and print the page for yourself.
If that doesn’t work for you then email the treasurer and a new copy of your original bill will be sent to you during Treasurer's office hours.

How to Change Your Address?
Easiest way to get your address changed on your tax bill is to email the Treasurer. Please be sure to include the property ID# and your new address.
