Road Improvement Projects

Blue Lake Township has a 1.2 mill property tax for road construction and repair that was voted by the electorate in August of 2010 Election.  Using the funds generated by this tax the following work schedule was proposed for 2011 – 2019.  Twin Lake Rd. between Squaw Lake Rd. and Sunset Trail was paved in the summer of 2012 at a cost of $414,689.   In the summer of 2013 we repaved Twin Lake Rd. between Sunset Trail and the Township line at a cost of $67,636.  In 2014 we paved Eagle Lake Drive at a cost of $163,472.  In 2015 we graveled several roads and Chip Sealed West Blue Lake Rd.  In 2016 we hope to Chip-Seal several of our older paved roads.  In June of 2015 we had $141,536 in the Highway fund.
